The Holyoke Preservation Trust is a non-profit 501C3 organization that works to preserve Holyoke's historic architectural heritage for present and future generations. We believe that Holyoke's history and historic architecture is a unique and valuable asset. We aim to educate, inspire and encourage historic preservation throughout the city by offering programs, information, and support to those who share our ideals.

The Holyoke Preservation Trust has been awarded $2500 for "Canals in the Connecticut River Valley,"
Clock tower, artifacts, stairways, and other interesting things are on view at Heritage Park. Photographs are available for purchase on this site. Proceeds go toward City Hall Restoration Projects and the Stained Glass Windows.
The trust will be hosting a free walking tour of the Veterans Memorial Park on Nov. 13 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. going through the park’s designation as part of the Hampden Park Historic District and its listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
They are also hosting a High Street Walking tour covering five blocks of businesses and structures on Nov. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. and planning their second garden tour for the spring of 2022.
The Friends of Holyoke City Hall will host a Masquerade Costume Gala whose proceeds will fund the ongoing restoration of the City Hall’s stained glass windows.
In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Holyoke has launched the “Key to the City” scavenger hunt, an event designed to immerse both longtime residents and newcomers in the rich history and landmarks of the city.
