The Holyoke Preservation Trust is a non-profit 501C3 organization that works to preserve Holyoke's historic architectural heritage for present and future generations. We believe that Holyoke's history and historic architecture is a unique and valuable asset. We aim to educate, inspire and encourage historic preservation throughout the city by offering programs, information, and support to those who share our ideals.
Massachusetts Cultural Council awards $2500 grant to the Holyoke Preservation Trust
The Holyoke Preservation Trust has been awarded $2500 for "Canals in the Connecticut River Valley, " a series of tours and presentations in Holyoke, Chicopee, South Hadley, Northampton, Ludlow, Wilbraham, Montague, Springfield, and Palmer. At least five tours and nine presentations.
Holyoke Preservation Trust's very own Robert Comeau will lead most of the presentations.
"Canals in the Connecticut River Valley" will occur between September 2024 and June 2025.
The award is a Festivals and Projects grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
